PROJECT
As a 2-year project, I've worked on this in my spare time as an exploration of form through aerodynamics and as a different iterative process than I am used to. Being theoretical drone designs, they mean to usher in a new definition of what autonomous flight could look like.
With the first generation, the goal was to create a design with simplicity and organics driven by purpose. with its distinct forward Sweeping Airfoils, this drone is given an unmatched level of maneuverability and agility for low-altitude high-speed surveillance.
In the second generation, the wings moved to a more centered position, with a slightly longer wingspan. with an additional two engines providing more thrust the second generation can fly longer and higher than the first generation. On top of all that the wider rear airfoils allow the drone to use less energy to maintain its lift.
