Can there be a system that creates a
better sleeping experience on
a deeper level?
Project Parameters
The first part of the project was to create some form of a light clock, bring a sustainability aspect to it, and then make it for a target audience. This project was form-focused and was then tailored to the project parameters. this system is an air filtration, smart home, light structure that serves to create a better sleeping experience for people suffering from asthma.
Construction Process
Can design impact have a deeper impact than just its visual experiencel? Hopefully so. While asleep this design targets the user's sleeping experience and rem sleep on a subconscious level through the body's natural senses. During the day, the smart home experience would create more ease in the users day to day life.
How It Works
With Biodegradable Nanoparticles, air would be sucked in through the bottom and pushed upwards towards the curves. These curves would filter particles of air that irritate Asthma and cover the allergens in a protective shell that prevents the body from having an allergic reaction. The base would have the main function of pushing air to the curves with a sub-function computing system.
Along with its main function, the base would also comprise of an OS system that would tell you the time in the front and have speakers in the back allowing for users to utilize a virtual assistant that could be connected to a home system.
